Solving desalination pre-treatment challenges with ceramic membranes

Nanostone Water was honored to present “Solving Pre-Treatment Challenges with Ceramic Membranes” as part of AMTA’s webinar series on Research, Innovation & New Directions in Desalination.

Jonathan Pressdee, Michael Shaw, and Gilbert Galjaard presented on October 26 at 1 PM EST. During the presentation, the team provided insights into challenges within the pretreatment of SWRO systems, as well as the positive impact ceramic membranes, are anticipated to bring to optimize these treatment schemes. Preliminary data from a recent desalination pilot also highlighted clear opportunities to leverage ceramic membrane technology to optimize SWRO operations.
